In a significant move that’s set to shake up the electric vehicle market, Ford has announced substantial price reductions for its 2023 Mustang Mach-E models, with savings reaching an impressive $8,100. This strategic decision reflects Ford’s adaptation to evolving EV demand and its commitment to offering exceptional value to customers.

The Mustang Mach-E, Ford’s innovative all-electric crossover SUV, has been a standout since its debut, evolving into the second-best-selling electric SUV in the US in 2023, despite initial comparisons to the traditional Mustang. Ford’s consistent efforts to make EVs more accessible have seen its price gradually decrease, making it an increasingly attractive option.

These latest price adjustments follow a temporary pause in orders earlier in 2023. When orders resumed in May with a starting MSRP of $42,995, Ford then extended previously announced cuts for Canadian customers to the US market, presenting the following new pricing structure:

– Select RWD: From $42,995 to $39,895

– Select AWD: From $45,995 to $42,895

– Premium RWD: From $46,995 to $42,895

– Premium AWD: From $49,995 to $45,895

– Premium RWD (Extended Range): From $53,995 to $45,895

– Premium AWD (Extended Range): From $56,995 to $48,895

– California Route 1 AWD: From $56,995 to $48,895

– GT: From $59,995 to $52,395

– GT (Performance Edition): From $64,995 to $57,395

It’s important to note that these advertised prices do not include the $1,800 destination fees, but the Mustang Mach-E still provides an excellent EPA-estimated range of 250 to 312 miles on a single charge, varying by model and battery configuration.

Beyond the attractive purchase price reductions, Ford is sweetening the deal with a $7,500 cash incentive on leased 2023 Mustang Mach-E vehicles through Ford Credit, which stacks with the $7,500 federal tax credit for EV leases, potentially saving US buyers up to $13,000 off MSRP when leasing; furthermore, qualified buyers can secure 0% financing for 72 months, making the Mach-E an even more compelling entry into the EV revolution.

And the exciting offers don’t end with the Mach-E! Ford is also rolling out attractive incentives for the F-150 Lightning, including various retail bonus cash offers and special lease deals across different trims of the 2023 model, ensuring more drivers can experience their electric truck.

– $7,500 retail bonus cash on an F-150 XLT Extended Range purchase

– $5,000 retail bonus cash on F-150 Lightning Lariat Standard and Extended Range purchase

– $12,500 retail bonus cash for the F-150 Lightning Platinum

Lease deals for the F-150 Lightning are equally appealing, with the top-tier Platinum trim eligible for up to $7,500 in red carpet lease cash, making it more attainable than ever.

Ford’s aggressive pricing strategy is a clear signal of its competitive stance against rivals like Tesla, which has also recently adjusted its Model Y pricing, demonstrating Ford’s determination to capture a larger share of the EV market. As Ford continues to innovate and expand its electric offerings, these price reductions and financing incentives are poised to make the Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning highly competitive choices for consumers transitioning to electric vehicles.

With Ford’s unwavering commitment to delivering value and driving growth in the electric vehicle sector, now is an exceptionally opportune moment for potential buyers to consider embracing an electric Ford. Whether you’re drawn to the stylish Mustang Mach-E or the powerful F-150 Lightning, Ford is actively paving the path toward an electrified future, making the transition seamless and rewarding with these incredible offers.
